Beating Cancer, Sooner
I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK because it’s an accountable organisation that makes a huge difference in the worldwide fight against Cancer.
The events of 2020 have made it crystal clear that huge and urgent investment in lab innovation, early-stage testing and large-scale clinical trials, can fight global disease.
This is exactly what Cancer Research UK does, without financial backing from the Government. However, it’s not all they do. For example their information nurses speak to thousands of people each year as they struggle to understand a complex disease; and their fundraising events are not just about making money, bringing people together to help them face their challenges together.
